This week's I Heart Faces theme is "Hilarious Outtakes." What a fun theme! And bonus: you can submit up to five photos for this theme! It doesn't surprise me that I picked all five with Mia, my little comedian.
The heavy roses on Mia's flower hat made it very difficult to stay in place on her head. As I was taking some shots, it slipped down over her eyes and in total Mia fashion, she just puckered her lips and we kept going. This outtake ended up being one of my favorites from the shoot.
I call this shot: "Just keepin' it real." Anyone who reads my blog might think my kids never do anything other than smile for the camera. This shot is proof that they, too, get bored, occassionally. This was during a longer-than-normal attempt to get a picture of them holding a photo of their, then, soon-to-be sister.
Oh my goodness, this one cracks me up just looking at it. I was trying out a potential camera lens and took Mia to a nearby lake for some test shots. Mia was wearing a new hat that kept slipping too low on her head, causing her eyelids to be forced shut. She even kept trying to smile, but her eyes couldn't open. And to top it off, most of my shots from the morning looked just like this. :)
This is one of my all time favorite photos. I was taking some shots of Mia and Leila dressed in my clothes, jewelry and glasses when they broke out into some serious giggles. No other explanation necessary...
Mia has a way of turning even the sweetest of photos into hilarious ones. This was "supposed" to be Mia leaning her head on her cute cousin's shoulder. Sweet, right? No, this is Mia's version...
