Mia had a very special play date this morning. All of her play dates are special, of course, but this one was extra special because she got to play with her pal, Alex, who is home waiting for her Mommy and Daddy to return from China with her little sister, Abby. Oh, that Abby is a cutie!! She and Alex are going to have so much fun together.
First - we started off with a play date within a play date. Our morning started by taking the girls to our weekly play group, where Alex got to meet some new friends in our neighborhood.
Then it was back home for dress-up and a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. ;)
These pictures just crack me up. I bet you can't tell these girls are daughters of two serious Mamarazzi. LOL

And a picnic by the lake. (Don't worry, Faye & Todd. This is the closest I let your baby get to the water.)
And a message for Mommy, Daddy and little sis. (These words were exactly what Alex asked me to write.)
Faye and Todd - I know you miss your sweet girl like crazy. We had a great time today and can't wait to see you all together!! Enjoy your time in China and your precious one-on-one time with Abby. Soak up everything and soon you'll be home sweet home. Big hugs!!

Thank you so much for taking Alex for a playdate. She had a ball. We talked to her that night and she talked up a storm about it. My MIL said she was beaming from ear to ear when she came home. I love the dress up dress at the lake. I bet she didn't want to take it off, did she? That just cracks me up. I love the note too. I can't wait to get home to give my baby hugs and kisses.
I love all the pictures. She has been asking to play with Mia for weeks. Too cute.
