No Tricks, Just Treats

I know I'm a day early, but I couldn't wait for tomorrow to post this. I am just so excited for my friend, Amie, and her gorgeous family because tomorrow is Johnathan Day!!! Woo hoo!!! This adorable little guy gets to meet his Daddy and Grandma tomorrow. Please join me in doing a big ol' happy dance for this little guy and his family!!! Oh, don't you just want to pinch those cheeks? Congratulations, Amie!!!

As for Halloween, our little Hannah lasted about 10 minutes last week with the wig before it got too itchy. I can't remember why I ever bought them, but I just so happened to have brown hair extensions in my closet from a long time ago. So... Leila went as M.iley C.yrus instead. I can't recall seeing her in braids, but our M.iley had braids. It's the only way I could figure out to attach them in her hair. And I doubled up on the length, or else they would have hung down below her waist.

Not my best braiding day.

I was in charge of crafts for Leila's class party. I don't know why I always sign up for this!! I always ending up doing a lot of pre-work, too, because they give the kids 10 minutes to complete the project. So, I spent a few hours this week glueing 400 pieces together to give the class a head start. Fun, fun!

This is Mia pouting because she wanted to glue, too, and I had asked her to color hers with a marker so I could help the other kids.

And as for trick-or-treating, all my pictures are blurry because I could not focus on my moving targets. (Bad Mamarazzi, bad.) They were too excited to run from house to house to get their loot. I actually like the pictures because it is a true representation of them: in motion.

By the way, cute little skeleton boy behind Mia may just be her future husband. If it's possible to have a crush at age three, I think she's got one. She adores him!

And we ended our Halloween night with a bonfire at our neighbor's house. The kids had so much fun in the fort and playing flashlight tag in the dark. It is a rare treat for them to get to stay up and play under the stars.

Halloween looks like it was fun. Mia makes the cutest clown and Leila looks like Hannah's little sister.

Love your Halloween pics! Miley was too cute : ) I also loved the picture of your little clown running! Trust me, I think it is possible to have a crush at 3. Paige has had a crush on the same little boy since Kinder. She won't let me post it on the blog, because she says "it's my business" : )
I am so excited for Amie! Her new little fellow is just precious!

Pretty amazing Halloween here too:)

Go, craft Mom, go!! Great job getting those crafts ready. The braids are adorable, though you could wrap both of your sweeties in a brown paper bag and the result would be just as stunning - they are beautiful.

Now, to get our girls ready for the Thanksgiving Harvests - room moms unite!

Love to you -
Heather

What a fun night you all had!

And the class party...a lot of effort! Yes, I could see myself signing up every year, and then wondering how I had time to do it, and then being totally happy with the result! Looks like you did a terrific job!
