Cousins, Cows & Kittens

First of all, Happy Birthday to my dear husband!! Thank for being such an amazing husband and father, and thanks for allowing us to spend your special day with my family.

We had our annual family picnic today at my cousin's farm. It's great to get together with my family, but I also love watching the kids roam around the farm and take in every inch of it. There was never a dull moment. They played with kittens, got up close and personal with cattle, took numerous golf cart rides, flew kites, played soccer and much more. They even got to meet an eight-year old cousin that lives in Florida. They had so much fun. I had a really hard time selecting which photos to post, so I put together a few collages.

The afternoon started out with kittens...

Then on to kites... Even Joe got to hold one.

Then on to cows... My brother helped brave Lucy pet one, while my girls preferred to keep a safe distance.

And all day these two being silly...

And then my brother chauffering the kids on the golf cart...083108 Pullins Picnic 5

Awww.... how sweet. Big sister Lucy kisses baby brother, Joe and Joe with his Mommy (my sister-in-law, Shelly).

I think these two were attached with velcro today. Mia was Lucy's shadow and never left her side. This is my favorite photo of them from today. I know I'm biased, but aren't they just precious? Can you tell they are two years apart?

Thanks again, honey. I know you spent half your birthday trying to get kites up in the air and helping the kids keep them there, but they will remember their sweet daddy and uncle.

Wow! What a fun day!! Thanks to my cousin, Cathy, and her family for hosting us at their home!

I can't believe how big Joe has gotten. He seems to be adjusted very well. Too cute.

I also love the picture of Lucy and Mia on the golf cart. What great memories you captured yesterday. Makes me so excited about my camera!!!! I hope I'll be as good of a photographer as you Michelle one day. Okay, when me and my friends head your way one day, we are going talk your ear off about adoptions, digi scrapbooking, and then have some Rebel talk...lol.
