We left bright and early last Tuesday morning for sunny San Diego, where this year's Huntington Summit Club trip was held. Nolan was a host and I helped coordinate the business meeting on Thursday morning. We had plenty of time to relax and have fun. Nolan's brother, Andrew, and his wife, Karen, live in San Diego, so Leila flew out with us and stayed with her Aunt & Uncle. Mia stayed back here at home with my Mom & Aunt Phyllis. (It takes two for my little Energizer Bunny.)

I call this one Nature's
PhotoShop. The sky and ocean were pretty gray at this time of night, so I didn't have to work at all to achieve this spot color look. :-)

Welcome home!! What a cutie she is....
Great photos...looks like a wonderful trip. I've been meaning to ask, do you mind telling where/who made your Russian/China necklace. It's so unique and I love it. My daughter is adopted from Russia and we are waiting for a China referral.
i love the ocean ... we lived in SD for the first 7 years of our marriage ... it is so calming and beautiful .. glad you had a good time ...
I don't want you to worry about the number of words ... just write the whole story ... everyone seems to need more than 1000 and I don't the story to miss anything because i know each story is suppose to touch someone ... thanks so much for doing this ... can't wait ..
My kids do love nature and it has made me love it too. I was always a more indoor person myself! Now they love hiking and playing out so much its keeping me in better shape. The house stays cleaner with them outdoors too.;) Big plus!
