Mia Time

Every Tuesday is Mia & Mommy Day since I'm not working and Leila is in kindergarten. This Tuesday was a perfect day for a trip to the zoo - something we do quite often when the weather is nice. I was in much need of some one-on-one time with Mia, after having been away from her for a week. We had a great day and I loved my "Mia time".

By the way, thanks, Connie, for the tip on enlarging my photos. It has taken a lot of trial and error and a template change, but it worked!

This is Mia being big and brave... walking in closer and closer to the Canadian Goose.

I think this rhino was on a caffeine buzz. It kept running in circles and entertaining us. We are regular zoo-goers and I have never seen anything like it.

What beautiful photos! Wonderful that you have Mia & Mommy time. I just thought today that Jia and I need to set up something regular like that too.

Hi there! I stumbled upon your blog through Joe and Jane's blog. I wanted to tell you that I absolutely love the name Leila and I want SO much to use it for our Taiwanese daughter. My husband is leary of her being picked on for the song, and for pronunciation. I was wondering if you've had any trouble or negative reactions to Leila's name?
Thank you...both of your girls are stunning!

What fun mommy time that was. She looks so beautiful in her outfit.

If you don't mind, what kind of camera do you use?
