9:00 p.m. Monday - Today was our final full day in China. We leave 9:00 p.m. tomorrow - exactly 24 hours from now! We have enjoyed our trip, making new friends and every moment with our beautiful daughter, but we can't wait to see Leila, sleep in our own bed and introduce Mia to her new home.
Today, we finished our shopping. Mia hasn't been sleeping in her crib, so we have used it as our storage unit. The crib is FULL of items purchased in Guangzhou. I don't even remember everything that's in it, but it will require us to purchase an extra piece of luggage tomorrow.
Of all the bargains I've gotten, I forgotten to mention the biggest. Yesterday, we had to take Mia to the hotel doctor again because she has been spitting up her antibiotic for her bronchitus. We had the check up plus three medicines and the total... $12 US dollars!! I couldn't believe it. The one medicine is a normal antibiotic, but the other two were mixed right there in the office. Not exactly Western medicine, but it's convenient to have someone so close. And third time truly is a charm - Mia is finally taking her medicine!
This will be my last post until we get home. I didn't take many photos of Mia today. I was too busy capturing final shots around Guangzhou. The above photo was taken by a friend on the way back from the Pearl Market today. Mommy and Mia are having a precious moment. She's still a daddy's girl, but we're doing just fine.
