Although I enjoyed yesterday's B/W Wednesday, you really can't appreciate the beauty of our recent conservatory visits without seeing them in full color. From the unique and colorful glass sculptures and beautiful flowers to the pretty butterflies, it is definitely one of my favorite places to go with camera in hand. And I thought I'd have a little fun with a few photos, too. Fortunately, my girls don't really question me any more when I ask them to do silly things. Leila gladly crossed her eyes and looked at her nose in surprise, Kara looked at her finger in wonder and Mia glanced upwards at her butterfly clip. Using photos of butterflies that I took during our visits, I was able to create the following three images. Oh, I love what you can do with photo editing. (And my girls thought it was pretty cool, too!)
(no, it didn't really land on her finger)
Here are a few more favorites from our last visit.
FYI - I purchased Mia's pretty butterfly hair clip from a friend of mine who I have known from blogging for quite some time, but had the opportunity to meet on our last visit to China. Visit Kimberley at Sophia Jane Boutique. She has some really cute stuff.

I love Mia's whole outfit.
Beautiful!
I just love all these pictures. Your girls are especially beautiful, each in their own unique way. I have really got to get back on the photography bandwagon and start taking some nice portrait shots.
Oh I love these images....and what a great idea with the first three!! At first I thought it really happened and thought to myself...my girls would of screamed and slapped it off their nose:)
Love how they are in their butterfly "finery"!! The blue sculpture/glass is awesome - what a great background!
Love the first three - how your girlies make me laugh!
Hugs!
So creative and beautiful!
They are all beautiful pictures ... you are so talented!
When I saw the first picture I really thought the butterfly landed on her nose! That is too funny! We too have a wonderful place very close to our house that is home to the largest butterfly park in the world. It's one of my favorite places to bring the kids and take loads of pictures.
Your photos are beautiful!

Hi Cindy,
Yes, I used cutouts and layers in Photoshop to create the header. :)
I am not sure this is even possible, but I think they are getting cuter by the moment!! All those beautiful colors, three of the most beautiful girls...makes for a phototastic opportunity!!
You really capture the very spirit of each child Michelle, I always feel like I know their little personalities through what you convey in pictures...thank you!
Happy Spring, my dear friend!

Snekcip: Thanks for the nice comment. I purchased Mia's socks and dress at Gymboree. I looked online, because I wanted to post a link, but unfortunately I couldn't find them. I purchased them in the winter, so they may be sold out. :)
