This week, I struggled to find a recent picture that I wanted to convert to b/w. Yesterday's post was about as colorful as one can get and so many of my photos lately are of the girls in their CNY dance costumes, wearing vibrant clothing or posed against a brightly-colored fabric backdrop, and I just couldn't bear to convert those to b/w. I love b/w's, but I love bold color, too! I was scrolling through my archives and found some photos I had never done anything with. These were taken after leaving the ballroom dancing competition in November. Leila and Kara were playing on an incline, under an overpass, and were so funny. My mom and I were laughing hysterically because, like me, Leila is scared of heights. Once she shimmied her way to the top, she didn't want to stand or walk. She maneuvered herself around by doing the crab walk. It was probably one of those "you had to have been there" moments, but we thought it was pretty darn funny.
Mom - I hope you get another good laugh out of these. :)

These cracked me up. (And tell Leila that I am scared of heights, too. The crab walk makes perfect sense to me. I mean, if you fall, you might drift off into space or something. Better to be close to the ground. Heh.)
Wow...these are FANTASTIC. I love the BW conversion and the expressions on your beautiful girls...well...they made me smile REALLY big!
I am so drawn in by the expressions and the background.
