Thanks to Lisa for starting Black & White Wednesday and getting me to convert some of my photos to b/w more often. I was hoping to get some really nice landscape shots when we were in Park City last week, but with all of the falling snow, I wasn't able to capture much. This is actually one that I shot last year. It's of the Egyptian Theatre marquee on Main Street. Funny how this is the only real marquee that I have ever seen at Sundance, yet most of the movies are shown in a high school auditorium, the library and the Jewish temple. :)
If you want to participate in Black & White Wednesday, just pop over to Lisa's blog and join in!

Great marquee - has such a fifties feel. And I love this one of your 3girls. Wonderful capture.
You asked on my blog if the China pagoda picture was the Summer Palace. No, it's not. It's just a Pagoda on the lake in Hangzhou. I don't know it's name but I love how tall it is.
Have a great day!
Love love love your pictures warmed my heart to see a piece of Utah. I moved from there 18 months ago and miss it terribly. Sundance is amazing festival! Your girls are so adorable!
Love both of these very much. I adore any kind of urban or architectural feature in black and white.

Your girls look so cute in their new haircuts! Doesn't it help to freshen things up now and then? We just chopped about four inches off Jia's hair and it was a great choice. So much easier to comb through now too!
Wow, Michelle! Both of your pictures are SO great. The girls are too cute for words. Should it even be legal to be that cute? : ). Great job with your camera. And the sign is PERFECT! Wow. I love that in black and white!
