Black & White Wednesday

the long road

Tonight, we had Kara's 12-month post-placement visit with her social worker. In fact, she is just shy of being home for 10-months, but I like getting these done early to make sure it arrives in China on time. I realized I had to have a family photo and it has been several months since I have taken one. So... after school on Thursday, we all went to my favorite park for a little photo shoot. The primary goal was a new family photo to send to China, but I absolutely LOVE this park at this time of year and wanted to capture some images of the girls, too. And here they are... with a little mixture of b/w and color.

very gorgeous family...I am having sibling rivalry in my own family at all times (age same like your children). I wonder how you can handle with all three.
You are just amazing!

Beautiful, I also can not believe she has been home that long! I love the matching dresses...my girls always choose matching stuff also. Makes my day to know they love each other that much, as I can tell yours are the same way.
And I too love this park through your pictures...what a fun place to get so many different backgrounds. I love the way you had them in the circle of that one background...such a neat concept. Once again...you make it so much fun to come visit:) Have a great mothers day!

I absolutely love your photography!! I am a photographer wanna be. I also love those dresses and I love to match my 3 girls also and I think my teenager may wear that one (she is picky). If you don't mind could you tell me where you got the dresses? You can E-mail me bryandi4@windstream.net. Thanks.

What beautiful pictures you have of your family. I didn't know what type of tree it was in the background until I read Wanda's comment. The wisteria looks amazing behind the girls.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you always get the perfect background for your black and white photos. Interesting textures that make your subject really stand out. I'm struggling with this!

The color pics are fantastic too. Some of my favorites ever!
