"My Mommy Don't Work No More"

When I quit my bank job in September, I pulled Mia out of school so that I could spend more time with her. That was, after all, one of the reasons I left my job. Whenever we would be out and about, she would frequently get asked, "Do you go to school?" Her answer was both embarrassing and hilarious... "No, my mommy don't work no more." Seriously - where did the bad grammar come from?!? Obviously, she needed school. lol!

Although we are getting near the end of the school year, Kara and Leila's school is getting ready to open up a new preschool class for the last couple of months. In order to secure her a spot for the next school year, I have decided to register her for this new class. This means Mia is going to be going back to preschool soon. **sniff sniff**. We're headed to see her pediatrician this morning to get some forms completed, so we'll be missing her soccer class. I'll have to call and schedule a make-up class because Mia loves soccer. She often thinks she is the coach and tries to run the show. And often the coach asks for Mia's help, since she's actually pretty darn good at running the show. :) And since I have completely neglected Mia's soccer on my blog, here are some pics...

Mia's coach told the kids to hug the ball. Mia took him literally. :)

BTW, these pics were taken on the same day as my last "nocular" post. If you like her tee, it can be found at Wild Olive.

Love the new look..it is simply lovely..I love SPORT posts...never thought I would be the MOM who was so into sports..but with my 12yr old playing soccer and my 8 year old into baseball..WE ARE SO a sports family...my 5 year old just started gymnastics and confided in me she MIGHT play softball...if you could only see my smile...it is so big...After spending years at dance with my older two girls(cuz I was young and thought that was what moms of girls do..) it is such a high to watch kiddies and their beloved sport!

Oh how cute!! The girl has so much personality......the ball hugging shot is so funny!

I know you are sad to see her go back to school, but I am sure she is going to love it! Besides, summer will be here soon enough and you will have all three pretty little ladies with you:)

Lisa

This may sound random, but I was reading an old post about Kara and wanted to tell you that Arden practices her Chinese by watching Chinese cartoons on the web.

Oh Michelle, how I love pictures of your Monkey - she always puts a bright smile on my face!! Love her face in the 5th one (where the coach's leg in in the foreground).

Exciting that Mia will be going back to school, although I am sure it will be hard at first - I know how you like having her with you! Maybe it will give you more time for your photos!!!

Hugs and Blessings, Ashley

Mia should be so proud that her mommy rearranged her life to care for her and her sisters. You are a trully special person. I am sure Mia is thriving from having you around all the time
