Spring, anyone?

Snow, snow and more snow! I know we're not knee deep in it here like some of the rest of the country is, but I'm not a big fan of cold weather. I'm about done with winter and ready for spring. Ha! I think we're headed for a long, very cold winter instead. I really enjoy looking at the snow from inside our warm, cozy home, but stepping outside and driving in it is just a whole different story. I was just at the camera store today and passed up the weather-proofing kits they had in stock. I was kicking myself tonight, as I was wrapping my 70-200mm lens in a large ziploc baggy and putting a towel over my head to protect the camera body. Oh yes, I was quite a sight, I am sure. If any of my neighbors are reading this, I know y'all were sitting in your warm house, sipping a cup of hot chocolate and laughing your tails off at me. Rightly so. :) The girls can't wait to hear if it's a snow day at school tomorrow. If you would have asked me earlier today, I would have bet money that it would be cancelled. Now, I'm not so sure. At least they had a few minutes of snowy fun outside tonight...

Weeellll, you know I am not ready for spring! :) However, I can understand that you are ready for some warmer days, as you've had some more white stuff than we have.

I LOVE these pics soooo much! Your sweethearts radiate happiness. Love em' :)

Fantastic pictures of some snowy fun. Bring back memories of playing in the snow with my sisters.

Too bad one of your neighbours didn't have a camera trained on you with the towel over your head, capturing all that fun.

I am ready for spring, too. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to come until around the end of May here!

I love hte pictures! The one of Leila going down the slide face first is just priceless!

Enjoy the snow! We've gotten 2-3 inches and are supposed to get a few more tonight.

Wow...you are getting the snow! We haven't seen snow here in TX but it sure is COLD! I remember last Jan. we were having days in the 70s and I took pictures of the kids playing outside barefooted....NO barefeet these days.

LOVE your pictures!

So... are they off today? We have a two hour delay. Because of 2-3 measly inches. Although I could do without the wind. I could seriously do without that wind.
