Playing In the Leaves... Another First

I took these photos after Mia's birthday party last Saturday. This was Kara's first time playing in the leaves. She was from southern China - from a town filled with beautiful palm trees. She had never seen the changing of the seasons like this before and it was so fun to watch her play joyfully in the leaves.

These types of pictures are my absolute favorites to capture. I would be so happy just to let them play in the leaves all day and sit to the side and snap away. Even though Kara doesn't like pink, she wanted a coat like her sisters'. I had to order a similar one from a store out of state, which just arrived today. Since she didn't have a winter coat yet, I let her borrow mine, hence the extremely large George Costanza "puffy" coat. :)

(BTW, shhhhh... don't tell her, but I just may be converting her to pink! LOL.)

I think that Kara will soon be a pink fan. : ) If ya can't beat em, join em...right? We are pink lovers around here, too.

Stopping by via link from another's blog. It's always a blessing to "meet" another family with such a heart for adoption. We also have a mixture of younger and older bio adopted ones (along with one bio), the oldest having arrived 9/08, now 11 yrs old. Your family is beautiful and you take wonderful photos!! God bless! What great photo. I am still waiting for the leaves in Maryland to truly change - but I got to enjoy the Northeast autumns while I was back home this weekend.

Hope you have a great week:)

Blessings and Hugs, Ashley

Your action photos are always so crisp and sharp. What settings do you use to take action shots?
