We Wanna Awana

"Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" - II Timothy 2:15

We heart Awana. And since this is my husband's second year as Awana Commander at our church, it's a good thing we enjoy it so much. And as the official photographer/communications coordinator for our program (aka "the camera lady"), I get to capture the faces of tons of adorable children each week as they come to know, love and serve Christ through song, scripture, and more. Of course, I can't help but be a little partial to these three cute kiddos. :)

Nice shots, as usual!

beautiful photos! We love Awana - both my husband and I were Awana leaders for 2 years at our Church, but they don't do it anymore.
Oh by the way I love the new look to your blog.

I found your blog again and you have your girl home!!! How exciting! How is everything going? We have some things that have been in the works but dont know for sure yet so we have not shared anything yet. But it gives me goose bumps to see your new 10 year old daughter!! Can wait to go back through your blog and see how things are going. :-)

Love the photos! We tried Awana for a few weeks, but since Awana doesn't end in our area until 8:30, and the Tongginator is in bed by seven... LOL. Yeah, not a good fit for our family at the moment.

Great pictures, Michelle...love all those smiles!! I wished we had an AWANA near us...there is one that I know of, but when we visited it seemed a bit chaotic. Can we come to yours...pretty please? : )

Happy Sunday!!

love,
Michelle

I haven't checked up on your blog in ages (we connected months ago through the "No Hands But Ours" site) and I'm just amazed at how completely home at home your new daughter appears to be! What a resiliant, lovely young lady!

Honestly, as much as I feel drawn to adopt an older child, it scares me. It's wonderful to see your joyful daughter and see how blessed you all have been by stepping out in faith.
