Hi Michelle, Loving your posts. I check a few times a day. Glad things are going well. Kara and Leila are adorable together and I LOVE those matching outfits. !!!
Wonderful pictures Michelle! We got to go to a village like this outside Nanchang in May 2007, and it was incredible and eye opening. One of my favorite parts of our journey!! Isn't it vastly different from the Chinese you see in the city? So glad to hear things are going so well! Hugs, Jill
I recognize this village from when we were in China in Sept '07! It was very sobering to see how they live. It was one of our favorite China-moments! So very glad things are going so well : )
In addition to running my own photography business, I am a proud mother to three beautiful girls that were born in my heart, and a wife to my wonderful husband of 17 years. We adopted Leila from Moscow, Russia at 32-months old and Mia from Jiangsu Province, China at 13-months old. We thought we were done at two, until God led us on another journey to China - this time to bring home our 11-year old daughter, Kara Da Xin in July 2009. I am also the proud Aunt of two nephews, born in Guatemala, and a niece, born in China. I am so thankful to our Heavenly Father for blessing our family with these amazing children.
This is a very special necklace I had made to keep my children close to my heart. On the left, it says "family" in Russian. On the right, it says, "mother and daughter joined at the heart" in Chinese. I love this piece of jewelry and how it always reminds me of our journey to bring home our three precious girls.

Fantastic to have such detailed village photos. I'm sure they'll be much appreciated in future years.
Love the matching outfits too!
