Mission Accomplished

I was so excited with some of the shots I got at the Chinese New Year party on Sunday. Of course, I had so much fun trying out my new toy. This is my favorite one I took of Mia - spinning with her new blue umbrella.

Mia

There is one picture I took of a little girl that is my absolute favorite, but I haven't received the mom's permission to post it here. I am, however, going to post some of some women that performed. I was on a mission to get some photos to enlarge and decorate D's room. Mission accomplished. I am really pleased with how they turned out, especially since I took them in the third row (using my 18-200mm lens) and was trying to shoot around people sitting in front of me. I just think all of these women are so beautiful.

I really want to start decorating D's room!! I wanted to wait, hoping that somehow I could find out what her favorite color is and then use that as my starting point. But, I really, REALLY want to start decorating. I'm trying to have patience. Ah, yes, patience................. It's so hard when it seems a new PB Kids or PB Teen catalog arrives in the mail every week!

You know, I tell y'all that I don't post face shots for other reasons, but it's really because I feel completely inferior. Y'all just astound me - love the first shot especially.

I didn't approach the kiddos because I didn't want to freak them out! LOL!

Michelle-
Those pictures are beautiful. You got better ones than I did. D will love them.
I love Alex's picture you sent. It is adorable. When I get home from California I will send you the pictures I got of the girls on the steps. They are not as good as I hoped. If one was looking the other had their head completely turned. But there are a couple cute ones.
You showed me the one you were talking about in your post. I can't wait to see it enlarged. It was gorgeous.

Thank you so much for the award on your blog. I just want you to know that I have so enjoyed getting to know you and I value your friendship tremendously and I look forward to more fun with you (and your girls).

See you soon.
Faye
