.....or busy Friday... No, it's completely FUN Friday!! We have our weekly play group this morning and we are attending an attachment seminar tonight, but the thing I am most looking forward to today is going out and buying the remaining care package items to send to Da Xin. Yes, it is finally official. With our LID this week, that means we can send her pictures of us and lots of other little goodies. This is all so fun and exciting!! And they are going to tell her about us now, too. I asked our agency to try to find out what her reaction is to the news. I really hope we can find out.
I have received several questions regarding how long before we travel to bring Da Xin home. At this point, I really don't know, but our agency is saying at least six more months. I am saying God is in control and He seems to be pushing things through for us, so I am not giving up hope for sooner.
I haven't been able to get my camera out as much as I would like to lately, but I was able to get a few decent shots of Mia earlier this week. We were just having a lazy morning at home when I snapped these at the top of our stairs.
This is my first shot using a reflector. I was trying to bounce light from a large window back into Mia's face. I don't have a CLUE what I am doing, but it's all so fun trying. I have lots of pictures of Mia smiling, but I think her little pout is cute, too.I have received several questions regarding how long before we travel to bring Da Xin home. Now, I'm off to go take a shower so we can go do a little SHOPPING!!! WOO HOO!!!

Michelle,
These pictures of Mia just melt my heart. You are a talented photographer.
I will be interested to hear about your attachment seminar. That is very wise of you and Nolan. We are feeling the tug on our heartstrings for another adoption. This time an older child as well. I would LOVE to talk with you someday. My main concern is how it would affect Sloan since he has always been our first and oldest. I would welcome your thoughts.
As always, your family remains in my prayers!
Blessings,
Tisha
You may not have a clue, but boy! Those pictures are truly professional. Just beautiful.
I love hearing the tone of joy as your write about your sweetie and getting her package together. God is good and yes, in control. Wishing that time flies until she's in your arms.
Love,
Ohilda
Great photos!! And how exciting -- I'll bet you travel sooner too.
