And We're Back! And the Winner Is....

We arrived home around 5:00 p.m. today from our FABULOUS trip to Florida!! It was just the most awesome week. A bit on the cold side, but that was the only glitch, other than Nolan's mom not being able to fly down to spend part of the week with us, of course. (Next time, Jo Ann! We're so glad you are feeling better!) As I was laying in bed with Leila tonight, I asked her what her favorite part of our vacation was and her answer was, "Everything." That pretty much sums it up for me, too. The pace was great; we got to see and do so much; and the girls didn't start having meltdowns until today. And trust me, I wanted to be right along with them. We've been running on adrenaline all week, but it has finally caught up with me (us). I am officially exhausted. So, after I post this, I think it's off to bed for me. I have missed catching up with all of my friends and I can't wait to stop by for a visit, but I think it's going to have to wait until tomorrow night.

But first, I promised to announce the winner of my Getaway Giveaway tonight and that I shall. Thanks to r*andom.org, the winner is Stefanie at Ni Hao Y'all. Yeah, Stefanie!! I'll get those goodies in the mail to you this week. You'll also receive a countdown to Christmas dry-erase magnet I picked up on our trip and a few goodies for the kids.

You know I can't close this post without some pictures. This was of our first day at Disney. We started out having breakfast with the princesses at Cinderella's Castle and ended it with a double appointment at the B*ibbidy B*obbidy Boutique, also inside the castle. Mia was scared of all the characters and didn't want near the princesses... EXCEPT "Tinkerbell." She kept calling Belle by the wrong name. :-) I think Belle seemed less scary because she was in her peasant Belle costume and not her ball gown.

I'm not sure I would have considered the B*ibbidy B*obbidy Boutique for Leila by herself when she was Mia's age, but Mia gets the benefit of doing some of the things her big sister does. And I have to admit that seeing Mia at age 3 after this little pop princess makeover does scare me a bit (hello, future?), but the whole process of it was so much fun. The girls LOVED it and it was a lot of fun for me, Nolan and my mom to watch. I kept it a surprise until our appointment time and Leila's eyes just beamed.

We are planning a vacay to Disney in June. When you are rested, I would like to pick your brain about where to stay, etc...

Your photo's look like you guys had such a Grand Time. You did an amazing job with your photos too, by the way.

I'm so glad your home now, because it was loney while you were gone.

I hope you can get some rest during this Thanksgiving break.
