Saturday - Part I

Both of the girls have been saying such hilarious things lately. I'm going to have to start making a list, because I don't want to forget them. Here are just two that come to mind... As Mia sat at the dinner table tonight, she said something funny and then she said, "I crack me up." Yes, she was talking about herself. I think she is so used to me saying that about her, because she constantly has me laughing. And when I tucked the girls in to bed tonight, Mia asked me to tuck her in like a "kumoon" and Leila asked me to tuck her in like a "raccoon." They both meant "cocoon." LOL

OK, so switching topics... I feel like I have been neglecting Leila lately. (Clarification: Not at home, but on my blog.) With her being in school full-time now, I have far more photo opportunities with Mia these days. So, since Leila loves getting her picture taken by herself, I took her to the lake this morning before we went to the pumpkin patch. (The best pumpkin patch ever, by the way, with tons of things for the kids to do!) I will be posting pics in a few days, but I need to weed through the 283 photos I took today. Here are the first of the photos from part 1 of our day...

"OK, Mommy. I've been sitting here being good for long enough. Can I join in now?"

"Oh! That looks like so much fun! I want to try," says Mia.

"Wheeeeeeeeeeee!"

"Wheeeeeeeeeeee!" again

I LOVE these photos!!!

First, I must comment on Leila. She appears to be so poised and self confident. What a beautiful lady she will grow to be. I just think she is the cutest little girl around (well, including Mia and Paige, of course!) I am glad you got some great shots of her.

I cracked up at the cute photo of Mia sitting waiting for her turn for photos...she looks like she is chomping at the bit!!!

The action shots are great. I LOVE the photo of them by the tree. Sweet sisters.

I love Leila's shirt. Again, something similar to what I bought today from ETSY! : )

Hugs!

Leila's gorgeous -- of course you know that.

As for Mia's "I crack me up" -- she sounds like a gal after my own heart. If you don't laugh at yourself, oftentimes no one is laughing. SOMEONE should always be laughing. Even if it's just you... laughing at yourself... when no one else is laughing. It may sound pathetic, but it's not. Really. I should know.

"I crack me up"....that is hilarious!

I can totally relate with the neglecting part....Nick is not appearing on the blog half as much as Sarah....he is in school and also hates the camera!!

Leila and Mia are such sweet and beautiful girls.....Love the shirt...another one of your creations??? The action shots were my favorite!!

Can't wait to see the pumpkin patch pictures....we were hoping the rain would clear out today so we could go, but as I sit here looking out my office window, it is pouring:(

Enjoy your Sunday!

What beauties. Love these photos. I also feel like I sometimes neglect Jake on the blog. He's in school full-time and Ava's not...so I completely understand what you're talking about.

Awww Michelle - Leila is so beautiful. Naturally. Just because she is. Her smile is magic and she has this presence about her. So glad you got some time to photograph her and enjoy her beauty through your lens...you are so talented in capturing your girls.

I love the pictures where they are jumping - they are amazing pictures. Mia is a cutie pie and how sweet to sit and wait until her sister has finished having her moment:)

Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see the pumpkin patch.

Hugs,
Heather

I love how kids get words mixed up...it always makes me laugh. Ella is mixing or mis-pronoucing words all the time-so funny.

I love the photos and scenery. Your Russin beauty is just that and Mia is adorable as usual.

I noticed you name over on "clickinmoms"-I am desperately trying to figure out my camera before we leave for CA in a few weeks. If I can't figure it out-I'm just gonna have you fly out and take some great beach photos =).

Michelle,

Your Russian princess is stunning! Of course, sweet Mia is also. :) What fabulous pictures.

Isn't it funny what kids say? I've been meaning to write down some of the stuff they say, but don't get around to doing so. I definitely want to keep those memories. Thanks for the reminder.

Hugs,

Ohilda

I too, sometimes photo Caitlyn more... mainly just because I am right with her more and she needs more constant supervision, so its easier.

You MUST start writing that stuff down, not only because you may forget but because it is just too funny not to!
