This weather is killing my plans! Today was zoo day, but nooooo... it's 33 degrees outside! We're hoping it will warm up after nap so we can do a quick trip this afternoon. (It's supposed to get to 50 degrees - the warmest day without rain this week.) The kids wanted to go this morning. They didn't mind that it was cold. Mom and I said thanks, but no thanks.Here are some pics from this morning. Apparently, we quite disappointed Jorge on his first morning here. For some reason, he was just sure that his Uncle Nolan would be bringing in doughnuts. So, not wanting to disappoint again, we headed off to Krispy Kreme this morning. Of all places that serve doughnuts, I wanted to take them here because the kids get to see the doughnuts being made. They loved watching the process and their green sprinkled doughnuts, too.

We put a little video clip of Joe playing on the bed for you and the kids to enjoy. He is just starting to warm up to us as we know it was an awkward transition from foster mom to us. We will keep you posted but all is well right now. Love, Rob and Shelly
