The Best of Both Worlds

Five days ago, I finally broke down and decided to splurge on tickets to the Hannah Montana concert to surprise Leila. Shortly after, I got a bad case of buyer's remorse when I saw Leila's reaction to the news the following morning. (Let's be honest here... I would have been disappointed with anything less than ecstatic.) What I later came to realize is that Leila didn't comprehend the word "concert." Sure, we've seen the Wiggles, Hi-5, theatrical shows and more, but nothing we ever referred to as a "concert." Fortunately, Leila finally understood what all the excitement was about and my case of buyer's remorse was forgotten. We had a great mother/daughter night out!
