Goodbye Nanjing. Hello Guangzhou!

It has been a long day. This morning, Nolan and I got up, showered, got ready and waited until 9:00 a.m. for our little Princess to wake up. Then, it was three solid hours of packing. UGH! Our suitcases had exploded and our contents mysteriously expanded in the five days in Nanjing. We then headed off for the Nanjing Airport. Thank goodness Mia is cute, because Mia screaming at the top of her lungs on the plane to Guangzhou didn't seem to upset the travelers too much. Our flight was slightly delayed, so by the time we took off at 4:20 p.m., Mia hadn't had a nap and was SOOO tired. She closed her eyes about three minutes on the plane, but couldn't stay asleep. She didn't cry the entire two hour flight, but it seemed to be a good portion of it.

We arrived in Guangzhou tonight in the dark. It was very odd driving on a two-tier street. We were on the upper level and I could look down and see the stores, people and cars on the street below. I'm scared of heights, so it's not only weird, but a bit scary. Our hotel is along the water and the entire area is lit up and looks so pretty. It reminds me of Downtown Disney. It looks like a very happening place. I can't wait to explore the area tomorrow. Guangzhou is another big city with a population of 9 million.

p.s. Mia learned a new trick today. I was blowing her kisses and she blew one right back at me. She laughs and smiles a lot, but only to us. She doesn't to strangers. We're bonding well.
