THE INSPIRATION
Mia's room was inspired by a book, Shaoey and Dot, written by Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman (the Christian singer). The book follows the journey of a ladybug named Dot and an orphan named Shaoey (pronounced SHOW-ee) found in China and the happiness brought when Shaoey finds her forever family.
